A Walk Through a Recent Stationery Suite

I recently had the pleasure of designing a stationery suite for a couple that was as much a whimsical walk in the woods as it was a wedding invitation.

Featuring lush wildflowers found on the land of their upstate New York venue, nods to their shared love of backpacking and the outdoors, and a playful portrait of where their wedding will take place, this suite literally walks guests through their special day. Beginning at the Welcome Party on Saturday, moving to the wedding day on Sunday, and ending with an RSVP reminder, this suite celebrates both the journey guests will go on with them - and also the journey they’ve gone on throughout their love.

I had so much fun bringing all of these elements together, hearing funny stories from their first dates to how he proposed, and pulling it all together into something that felt cohesive, fun, and oh so them. The color palette - with pops of green, blush pink and goldenrod yellow - is a hit of dopamine in itself, and a taste of what’s to come. A vibrant, lively and love-filled celebration, settled amongst the pines, reminding me that a wedding that feels like you is the best kind.

I can’t wait for R & M’s guests to open up these invites. I have a feeling they will be RSVPing yes right away!
